Bra fit guide

Bra cups gap at the top: do not automatically size down

Where the empty space appears matters. A cup can be close in volume and still be too tall or shaped differently from your tissue.

Check the lower and center cup

If those areas are filled and supported, top-only space is a stronger shape signal than global oversizing.

Compare cup height

A shorter cup or lower-coverage cut can remove unused vertical space without squeezing the breast into a smaller volume.

Check strap placement

Very wide-set straps can pull the outer cup edge into an awkward angle and exaggerate upper gaping.

When a smaller cup makes sense

If the cup is empty through most of its depth and width after adjustment—not only at the top—one cup-volume step smaller is a more reasonable test.

Use this as a next-test guide, not a promise. Brand patterns and labels vary. Change one variable at a time when possible.

What to do next

Use Bra Fit Rescue with the bra you have already tried. The tool combines band, cup, wire, center, strap, wear, and asymmetry signals rather than treating one symptom in isolation.
