What should you try next?
Start with a bra you have actually tried. The tool is strongest for everyday bras where band, cup and strap fit can be judged separately; wireless bras are supported with underwire-specific checks skipped.

- For a new hook-and-eye bra, start on the loosest comfortable hook.
- Set straps snug enough to stay put, not tight enough to pull the band upward.
Why UBBRA sometimes refuses to give a new size
Some symptoms are not clean size signals. A tight-feeling band can actually be cup tension; a worn band can look too large; top-only gaping can be cup height; and spilling combined with an already-wide wire can point to a shape conflict. In those cases the safest next step is a diagnostic or construction comparison, not a made-up “perfect size.”
Fit Rescue FAQs
What if my exact size is not listed?
Choose “Other / not listed.” UBBRA will describe the next band or cup-volume step instead of inventing a label.
Why are US results sometimes relative instead of exact?
US cup lettering is not consistent across brands. Use the brand’s own cup progression when UBBRA says to move one cup-volume step.
When should I get an in-person fitting or medical advice?
An experienced fitter can help when several shapes and sizes keep failing. Pain, numbness, skin injury, or a new or concerning body change belongs with a qualified healthcare professional.
